(PITTSBURGH, PA) - Homer Bailey and two relievers combined on a five-hitter as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-1.
Bailey allowed a run on four hits over seven innings to pick up the win, improving to 3 and 4.
Brandon Phillips drove in a pair of runs with Jonny Gomes and Joey Votto knocking in a run apiece as Cincinnati avoided a three-game series sweep.
Delwyn Young's RBI single in the fifth accounted for the Pirates' lone run.
