(BOSTON, MA) - David Ortiz hit two solo home runs, including a walk-off shot with one out in the bottom of the ninth as the Boston Red Sox edged the Chicago White Sox 3-2.
Paul Konerko gave Chicago a 1-0 lead in the first with an RBI triple.
Ortiz' first homer in the second tied the game and Alex Gonzalez gave Boston its first lead with a solo blast in the sixth off White Sox starter Gavin Floyd.
Scott Podsednik tied the game again with a solo homer in the eighth, setting up Ortiz' game winner off Chicago reliever Tony Pena.
Boston has won the first three games of the series while the White Sox have lost four in a row.
