(CLEVELAND, OH) - Tommy Hunter and CJ Wilson combined on a six-hit shutout as the Texas Rangers blanked the Cleveland Indians 5-0.
Josh Hamilton gave Texas the lead for good in the third when he touched Cleveland starter Fausto Carmona for a two-run double.
The Rangers would score three insurance runs in the eighth in support of Hunter, who allowed six hits over seven and two-thirds innings to improve to 5 and 2.
Carmona gave up two runs on five hits over six innings to take the loss, falling to 2 and 7.
