(DENVER, CO) - Troy Tulowitzki homered and drove in seven runs as the Colorado Rockies blasted the Chicago Cubs 11-5.
Tulowitzki went five for five, driving in four runs in the first two innings as the Rockies jumped out to a 6-0 lead.
Jorge De La Rosa allowed a run on seven hits over seven and two-thirds innings, striking out eleven while improving to 10 and 8 on the season.
Geovany Soto drove in the only run off De La Rosa with his ninth home run of the season.
Soto would add a sacrifice fly in the Cubs' four-run ninth.
Tom Gorzelanny lasted just an inning and a third, giving up six earned runs to fall to 4 and 2 on the year.
With the loss, Chicago falls three games behind St. Louis in the NL Central.
