(CHICAGO, IL) - Scott Podsednik hit a go-ahead RBI single with two out in the bottom of the eighth to give the Chicago White Sox an 8-7 win over the Kansas City Royals.
Jayson Nix and AJ Pierzynski hit two-run homers as the Sox built a 7-4 lead entering the eighth.
Mike Jacobs tied the game when he hammered a three-run shot off Chicago releiver Scott Linebrink.
Mark Buehrle was in line to pick up his first win since throwing a perfect game on July 25th, but Jacobs' home run gave Buehrle a no-decision.
Linebrink picked up the win with Roman Colon taking the loss for Kansas City.
