(NEW YORK, NY) - Mark Teixeira hit a three-run homer and drove in four as the New York Yankees completed a three-game series sweep of Chicago with an 8-3 win over the White Sox.
Johnny Damon added a two-run shot for the Yankees, who sent the Sox to their seventh loss in eight games.
Jermaine Dye hit a solo home run and Scott Podsednik had three hits including an RBI single for Chicago, who dropped six games behind first-place Detroit in the AL Central.
