(HOUSTON, TX) - The Houston Astros snapped Cincinnati’s six-game winning streak with a 3-2 win over the Reds in Houston.
The Astros scored twice in the third before Humberto Quintero hit a solo homer off Cincinnati starter Johnny Cueto in the fourth.
The Reds would claw back with a couple of runs in the sixth on a Jonny Gomes RBI double and a run scoring single by Ramon Hernandez.
Wandy Rodriguez went six innings, giving up nine hits while striking out nine to improve to 14 and 11.
Cueto took the loss to fall to 10 and 11.
