(MUNCIE, IN) - The Ball State Cardinals opened their college football season with a 20-10 loss to North Texas at Scheumann Stadium in Muncie.
Riley Dodge threw for 216 yards and a touchdown with Cam Montgomery running for 149 yards as the Mean Green won their opener after going 1 and 11 last season.
Miquale Lewis ran for 103 yards and scored Ball State's lone touchdown while Redshirt freshman Kelly Page struggled at quarterback, completing 15 of 34 passes for 140 yards with an interception.
The Cardinals host New Hampshire on September 12th.
