(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Chris Carpenter ran his record to 15 and 3 as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Milwaukee Brewers 10-3, extending their winning streak to five games.
The Cardinals broke the game open in the second, scoring six runs highlighted by a two-run single from Skip Schumaker and a two-run double by Albert Pujols.
Yadier Molina also drove in two runs for St. Louis as the Redbirds won for the 16th time in their last 19 games.
Milwaukee starter Dave Bush lasted just 3 1/3 innings, giving up eight runs on eleven hits to fall to 3 and 6.
