(MILWAUKEE, WI) - Albert Pujols homered twice and Adam Wainwright became the first pitcher in the majors to reach 18 wins as the St. Louis Cardinals completed a three-game sweep in Milwaukee by beating the Brewers 5-1.
Pujols drove in three runs as he raised his major league-leading home run total to 47 with homers off Milwaukee starter Jeff Suppan and reliever Chris Narveson.
Wainwright lasted seven shutout innings, giving up five hits to improve to 18 and 7.
Felipe Lopez drove in the Brewers' lone run with a solo homer in the eighth off reliever Trever Miller.
