(ST. LOUIS, MI) - The St. Louis Cardinals snapped a three-game losing streak with an 11-6 win over the Florida Marlins.
The Cardinals scored four runs in the first, but Florida took a 6-4 lead in the top of the fourth on a two-run homer by Nick Johnson.
Julio Lugo tied the game in the bottom of the fourth with a two-run triple and scored the go-ahead run on albert Pujols' sacrifice fly.
That would be all of the scoring until the eighth when Matt Holliday hit an RBI double and Colby Rasmus followed with a three-run home run.
With the victory, the Redbirds maintain their 9 1/2 game lead over the Cubs in the NL Central.
