(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts have signed veteran wide receiver Hank Baskett.
The fourth-year veteran was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday after making one catch for six yards in the Eagles' season opener against Carolina.
Baskett is expected to supply depth at receiver for the Colts in the absence of Anthony Gonzalez.
Gonzalez sprained ligaments in his right knee against Jacksonville last Sunday.
Estimates on how long the third-year receiver out of Ohio State will miss range from two weeks to two months.
