(CINCINNATI, OH) - The Indianapolis Colts wrapped up the preseason with a lackluster 38-7 loss to the Bengals in Cincinnati.
The Colts rested most of their starters while Cincinnati's starters played the first series.
The Bengals did most of their damage on the ground, rushing for 296 yards with former Colt De De Dorsey running for a game-high 68 yards.
Dorsey also blocked a Pat McAfee punt and returned it for a touchdown.
Jim Sorgi saw his first action of the preseason at quarterback for the Colts.
Sorgi completed eleven of 19 passes for 119 yards, including a 22-yard scoring strike to Taj Smith.
The colts wind up the preseason at 1 and 3.
They open the regular season on September 13th against Jacksonville at Lucas Oil Stadium.
