(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Jake Fox hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the eleventh inning as the Chicago Cubs snapped a four-game losing streak with a 6-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Andres Blanco had an RBI double and Micah Hoffpauir hit a run-scoring single as the Cubs avoided being swept in the three-game series at Busch Stadium.
Mark DeRosa and Albert Pujols hit RBI doubles for St. Louis in the fifth and Yadier Molina tied the game in the eighth with a single for the Redbirds.
The Cardinals' Magic number for clinching the NL Central remains at four.
