(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever are off until Wednesday night when they face the Phoenix Mercury in a clash of the top two teams in the WNBA.
The Fever and the Mercury are in a head-to-head battle for the best record in the league and home court advantage throughout the playoffs.
Indiana is 20 and 8 and holds a half-game lead over Phoenix.
The Fever clinched their first-ever regular season eastern conference title when the Atlanta Dream lost in double-overtime in Seattle early Sunday morning.
The Mercury are 20 and 9 and are still battling Seattle for the best record in the west.
The Fever beat the Mercury 90-84 in Phoenix back on August 8th.
