(SOUTH BEND, IN) - The National Football Foundation will announce today that the College Football Hall of Fame will be moving from South Bend to Atlanta, Georgia.
The hall of fame has been in South Bend since 1995 when it was relocated from Kings Mills, Ohio as officials hoped to take advantage of its proximity to Notre Dame.
South Bend Mayor Stephen Luecke said in a Wednesday News Conference that moving the hall is a business decision and that the football foundation hoped moving to a larger city would give the hall better exposure.
