(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Maxwell Leon’s RBI groundout in the top of the eighth inning was the difference as the Toledo Mud Hens edged the Indianapolis Indians 2-1.
Argenis Diaz put the Tribe on top with an RBI single in the second.
Scott Sizemore tied the game for Toledo with a run-scoring single in the fifth.
Ryan Ketchner allowed a run on five hits over seven innings to pick up the win for the Mud Hens, moving to 1 and 0 with Toledo.
Indianapolis starter Eric Hacker did not figure in the decision after allowing a run on eight hits over seven innings.
The Indians begin their final home series of the year tonight when the west division champion Louisville Bats come to Victory Field for a three-game set.
