(SOUTH BEND, IN) - Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd is likely out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on his broken left collarbone on Sunday.
Fighting Irish Head Coach Charlie Weis says their is a possibility that Floyd could return should Notre Dame go to a Bowl Game.
Floyd was injured when he fell trying to make a catch during Notre Dame's 33-30 win over Michigan State on Saturday.
The sophomore was the leading receiver this year for the Irish with 13 catches for 358 yards and five touchdowns.
Notre Dame is at Purdue on Saturday.
