(CLEVELAND, OH) - Scott Feldman and two relievers combined on a six-hit shutout as the Texas Rangers blanked the Cleveland Indians 10-0 to complete a three-game sweep in Cleveland.
Feldman allowed five hits over seven innings to move his record to 16 and 4.
Marlon Byrd hit a three-run home run and Ivan Rodriguez added a two-run shot as the Rangers scored five runs in the top of the first off Indians starter Fausto Carmona.
Carmona lasted just two-thirds of an inning as he drops to 3 and 10.
Byrd finished with four runs batted in while Rodriguez drove in three as the Rangers kept the heat on the Red Sox and the Angels in their playoff races.
