(CINCINNATI, OH) - The unlikely combination of Kip Wells and Corky Miller gave the Cincinnati Reds an 8-1 win over the Florida Marlins.
Wells pitched into the eighth inning, allowing a run on five hits to improve to 2 and 4.
Drew Stubbs gave the Reds a 1-0 lead on an RBI Double in the third before Miller hit his first home run of the season, a three-run shot off Marlins starter Sean West in the fourth.
Joey Votto would add a two-run homer in the seventh as Cincinnati gains a split of the four-game series with Florida.
