(DENVER, CO) - Todd Helton drove home the winning run with a fifth-inning single as the Colorado Rockies edged the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3.
The Rockies took a 2-0 lead in the first when Troy Tulowitzki hit an RBI Triple and scored on a single by Brad Hawpe.
Albert Pujols gave St. Louis the lead in the third when he hit a three-run double off Milwaukee starter Jorge De La Rosa.
Colorado would regain the lead in the fifth when Carlos Gonzalez tied the game with an RBI double and scored on Helton's game-winner.
With the victory, the Rockies maintain their 2 1/2 game lead over Atlanta in the National League Wild Card Chase.
