(DETROIT, MI) - Placido Polanco’s sacrifice fly in the tenth inning gave the Detroit Tigers a 4-3 win over the Cleveland Indians and a sweep of the three-game series.
Curtis Granderson put Detroit on the board in the first with his 26th home run of the season.
Clete Thomas made it 3-0 Tigers with a two-run triple in the seventh.
Cleveland came back to tie the game in the eighth when Asdrubal Cabrera hit an RBI single and Shin-Soo Choo followed with a two-run double.
Zach Miner picked up the win in relief with Rafael Perez taking the loss.
