(CHICAGO, IL) - The Chicago White Sox had their four-game winning streak snapped as they fell to the Boston Red Sox 6-1.
Mike Lowell put Boston ahead to stay in the fourth when he slammed a two-run homer off White Sox starter John Danks.
Jason Bay added an RBI single in the fifth to make it 3-0 Red Sox before Ramon Castro drove in Chicago's lone run with a solo homer in the eighth.
Victor Martinez gave Boston some insurance in the ninth with a three-run home run.
Jon Lester threw seven shutout innings, allowing four hits while striking out eight to improve to 12 and 7.
Danks took the loss to fall to 12 and 9.
