(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - The Chicago White Sox’ road woes continue as Jose Morales’ pinch-hit RBI single with two out in the bottom of the ninth gave the Minnesota Twins a 4-3 victory over the Sox.
Alexei Ramirez gave Chicago the lead with a solo homer in the fifth, but the Twins would take a 3-1 lead on a pair of solo home runs by Michael Cuddyer and an Orlando Cabrera sacrifice fly.
White Sox rookie Gordon Beckham tied the game in the eighth when hammered a two-run homer.
With the loss, Chicago has lost five straight and eight of nine on their current road trip.
The twins remain 4 1/2 games behind Detroit in the AL Central while the Sox fall seven games back.
