(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - The Chicago White Sox were down to their final strike twice, but rebounded to score four runs in the top of the ninth to down the Minnesota Twins 4-2 and snap a five-game losing streak.
Twins closer Joe Nathan gave up back-to-back solo homers to Gordon Beckham and Paul Konerko on 3-2 counts with two out in the ninth.
After giving up back-to-back walks to Jermaine Dye and Carlos Quentin, Nathan was lifted in favor of Matt Guerrier.
Guerrier gave up a single to Alexei Ramirez with pinch runner Dewayne wise scoring the go-ahead run.
Quentin would later score on a wild pitch by Guerrier.
