(CHICAGO, IL) - The Chicago White Sox’ struggles against Kansas City continue as they fell to the Royals 2-1.
Kansas City got on the board in the first inning when Willie Bloomquist scored on a wild pitch from Chicago starter Freddy Garcia.
Mitch Maier made it 2-0 Royals with an RBI single in the third.
AJ Pierzynski drove home Chicago's lone run of the game with an RBI single in the fourth off KC starter Robinson Tejeda.
Tejeda would get the win to improve to 4 and 1.
The last-place Royals took two of three in the series as Chicago falls six and-a-half games behind Detroit in the AL Central.
