17-Year-Old In Contention To Win World Championship

(LONDON, ENGLAND)- Pittsboro’s Bridget Sloan has an Olympic Silver Medal and an All-Around National Championship.

Now the 17-year-old Tri-West student is in contention to win an All-Around World Championship as well.

Sloan is currently third in the All Around at the World Gymnastic Championshios in London, England.

After three of five sessions, Sloan is third in uneven bars, and sixth in the floor exercise.

The top eight in each division qualify for the finals.
