(MUNCIE, IN) - Ball State Senior Running Back Miquale Lewis is the mid-American conference’s offensive player of the week.
Lewis ran for a school-record 301 yards in the Cardinals' 29-27 win at Eastern Michigan.
He had a career-best 66-yard touchdown run during the game as he broke Earl Taylor's record of 260 yards set against Eastern Michigan in 1976.
Sophomore Running Back Cory Sykes added 203 rushing yards during Saturday's win.
It was Ball State's first victory of the season.
The Cardinals are back home to face the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday.
