(CHICAGO, IL) - The Chicago Cubs finished a disappointing season with a 5-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Doug Davis went eight innings, allowing two runs on six hits to pick up the win and move to 9 and 14 on the season.
Chris Young paced the D-Backs offense with a three-run homer off Cubs starter Ryan Dempster.
Rookie Sam Fuld drove in both Chicago runs, including a solo homer off Davis in the fifth.
It was the first home run of Fuld's Major League Career.
Dempster took the loss to complete his season at 11 and 9.
