(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Defensive Tackle Ed Johnson has been released by the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts have not confirmed the report, but Colts Head Coach Jim Caldwell will address the media later today.
Johnson's name did appear on the NFL's waiver wire Tuesday afternoon.
Johnson, who was released one game into last season after testing positive for marijuana, was signed as a free agent in may.
He had started all five of the colts games this season, recording eleven tackles.
The Penn State product was in his third season in the NFL, all with the Colts.
