(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The WNBA Finals will go to a decisive fifth game as the Phoenix Mercury staved off elimination with a 90-77 win over the Indiana Fever in game four at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Cappie Pondexter led the Mercury with 22 points with Penny Taylor finishing with 17 and Diana Taurasi and Tangela Smith adding 16 points apiece.
The Fever had a rough night shooting from the outside, going 2 for 18 from three-point range.
Tamika Catchings led Indiana with 24 points and twelve rebounds with ebony Hoffman adding 17 points.
The series is tied at two games apiece with the fifth and final game Friday night in Phoenix.
