(BOSTON, MA)- Jim Irsay became the first NFL owner to state publicly he would not favor Rush Limbaugh as a fellow owner.
Limbaugh, the polarizing conservative talk show host, is attempting to become a minority owner of the St. Louis Rams.
"When there are comments that have been made that are inappropriate, incendiary and insensitive... our words do damage and it's something we don't need" the Colts' owner said.
Any prospective buyer of a league franchise must be approved by a minimum of 24 of the NFL's 32 owners.
