(CHICAGO, IL) - The Pittsburgh Pirates swept a doubleheader from the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, winning game one 4-0 and the second game 8-2.
Charlie Morton fired a complete-game four-hitter in the opener to improve to 5 and 9.
The Pirates scored all four of their runs in the top of the first with Jason Jaramillo's two-run double the key blow.
In game two, Ryan Doumit had a big night, going 4 for 4 with a solo homer, four runs batted in and three runs scored.
Pittsburgh roughed up Chicago starter Carlos Zambrano.
Zambrano allowed four runs on six hits with four walks and six strikeouts in six innings of work as he falls to 9 and 7.
