(ST. LOUIS, MI) - Albert Pujols may soon win his third most valuable player award, but it doesn’t mean he’s ready for a contract extension.
Pujols, who batted .327 with forty seven home runs and 135 RBI this year, told a Dominican radio station "i'm not desperate to sign a contract extension.
I still have one year remaining in my contract for 2010 and a club option for 2011.
I leave the rest in god's hands." Pujols, 29, signed a seven year, one $100 million dollar contract in 2003.
