(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will begin practice early today as they continue to get ready for their Sunday afternoon game with the Houston Texans.
The Colts are 10-0 and can clinch the AFC South championship with a victory over the Texans combined with a Jacksonville loss at San Francisco on Sunday.
Today's practice will begin about three hours earlier than normal for a Thursday to allow the players to go home early to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
They will hold a 90-minute practice on Friday before heading to Houston, Saturday for the game.
The Colts listed 25 players on the Wednesday injury report, although many of those players listed did participate in practice.
The players who did not participate yesterday include defensive linemen Keyunta Dawson and Dwight Freeney, wide receivers Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez, defensive backs Antoine Bethea, Aaron Francisco and Kelvin Hayden, linebacker Ramon Humber, tight end Gijon Robinson, quarterback Jim Sorgi and kicker Adam Vinatieri.
The injuries to Dawson and Freeney prompted the team to bring Josh Thomas back on Tuesday while waiving running back Mike Hart to open a roster spot.
Peyton Manning was among the players whose participation was limited during Wednesday's practice.
Manning was listed as having a glute injury.
