(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The IndyCar Series will have a new title sponsor in 2010.
The Indianapolis Star reports that clothing manufacturer Izod has signed on for at least five years.
A formal announcement is expected on Thursday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The series has not had a title sponsor since the internet search engine northern light left after the 2002 season.
The series was also sponsored by Pep Boys, an automotive parts and service chain.
Izod has been involved with the IndyCar Series since last year, sponsoring driver Ryan Hunter-Reay and serving as the official outfitter of the series.
