(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University starting cornerback Ray Fisher will have minor knee surgery and will miss Saturday’s game at Wisconsin.
Fisher, who also returns kicks for the Hoosiers, injured the knee during the opening kickoff against Iowa last week and did not return.
Head Coach Bill Lynch stressed that the surgery is minor in nature and that it is not necessarily season-ending, despite the fact that only three games remain.
Fisher, a senior out of Cleveland, returned two kickoffs for touchdowns this season.
