(SAN JUAN, PR) - Murphy Holloway scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Mississippi Rebels past the Indiana Hoosiers 89-71 in the first round of the Puerto Rico Tipoff in San Juan.
Chris Warren added 16 points as Ole Miss responded to an early 20-11 deficit by going on a 14-0 run to take control.
Maurice Creek led the Hoosiers with 18 points with Verdell Jones scoring 17 and Jeremiah Rivers adding 14 as IU falls to 2-1 on the season.
The Hoosiers face Boston University in round two this evening.
The Terriers lost to Kansas State last night in round one.
Tipoff for tonight's game between the Hoosiers and Terriers is scheduled for 6pm.
