(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - The Ball State Cardinals lost a 16-point, second-half lead but clawed back to defeat the Indiana State Sycamores 68-63 at the Hulman Center.
The Cardinals led 44-28 with just over 13 minutes remaining before the Sycamores came back to take a 59-58 lead on Dwayne Lathan's layup with 3:06 left.
Ball State would close out the game on a 10-4 run to get the win and even their record at 3-3.
Jarrod Jones led the cardinals with 16 points with Jauwan Scaife adding 14 and Randy Davis finishing with eleven points.
Lathan led Indiana State with 16 points with Harry Marshall adding 14 as the sycamores fall to 5-3.
Ball State is at Tennessee Tech on Saturday afternoon while Indiana State hosts Oral Roberts on Sunday afternoon.
