(ORLANDO, FL) - The Orlando Magic used a 12-2 run down the stretch to pull out a 106-98 win over the Indiana Pacers in Orlando.
The Pacers jumped ahead early, using a 12-0 run after Dwight Howard scored the first basket of the game to take a double-digit lead.
Indiana would lead by as many as 17 points in the second quarter before Orlando clawed back to reduce the deficit to one at halftime with the blue and gold taking a 54-53 advantage to the locker room.
The Pacers took their final lead at 96-94 when TJ Ford hit an 18-foot jumper with 4:59 remaining.
Orlando proceeded to score the next twelve points with Indiana not scoring again until Mike Dunleavy hit a pair of free throws with 29 seconds remaining and the contest already decided.
Vince Carter led the Magic with 28 points with Howard putting in a monster performance, scoring 21 points while grabbing 23 rebounds.
Dunleavy led Indiana with 26 points as the Pacers failed in their attempt to make it three wins in a row as they fall to 8-14 on the season.
The Pacers return home to face the charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night.
