(MUNCIE, IN) - The Ball State Cardinals face North Carolina Central this evening at Worthen Arena in Muncie.
The Cardinals fell to 3-5 with their 69-49 loss to number-four Purdue at the Wooden Tradition Saturday at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Jarrod Jones led Ball State with 16 points as the Cardinals overcame a rough first half to keep pace with the Boilermakers over the final 20 minutes.
It is game two in the Hoosier state for North Carolina Central as the Eagles are coming off an 81-58 setback against Indiana in Bloomington on Saturday night.
North Carolina Central fell to 2-9 with Saturday's loss and have dropped their last two games.
Tonight's game is the first of three in a row at home for Ball State.
Tonight's game is the first ever meeting between the Cardinals and the Eagles in men's basketball.
