(UNDATED) - In men’s college basketball, the Akron Zips won their fifth game in a row as they defeated the Valparaiso Crusaders 77-57 in Akron.
Jimmy Conyers led Akron with a career-high 22 points with Brett McKnight adding 17 points and nine rebounds as the Zips improve to 9-3.
Brandon Wood led Valpo with 18 points with Cory Johnson finishing with eleven as the crusaders fall to 5-8.
Valparaiso is back home on Thursday night when they host the Milwaukee Panthers.
On today's schedule, the IUPUI Jaguars are in Memphis this afternoon to take on the Tigers.
The Jags are 9-4 while Memphis is 8-2 and unbeaten at home.
The Ball State Cardinals host the Hawks of Maryland-Eastern Shore tonight at Worthen Arena.
The Cardinals are 4-5 while the Hawks enter this evening's contest having dropped their last two and 0-6 on the road.
The IPFW Mastodons play host to the Panthers of Purdue-North Central.
The Dons are 4-6 while Purdue-North Central is 5-11.
The Indiana Hoosiers welcome the winless Bryant Bulldogs to Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
The Hoosiers are 5-6 while Bryant is 0-12.
