(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Troy Murphy scored 26 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 101-98 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.
The Pacers led all the way, building an 18-point advantage early in the third quarter.
The Bobcats chipped away and had a chance to tie the game at the end after Dahntay Jones missed two free throws with 1.8 seconds remaining.
DJ Augustin hit a three-pointer, but it was ruled that he did not release the shot before time expired.
TJ Ford finished with 15 points and 13 assists with Mike Dunleavy also scoring 15 points as the Pacers pick up their third win in their last four games.
Charlotte's Gerald Wallace led all scorers with 29 points and also grabbed twelve boards with former Pacer Stephen Jackson adding 22 points.
The Bobcats have lost eleven of their twelve road games this season.
Indiana improves to 9-14 as they embark on a two-game weekend road trip.
The Pacers are in Memphis to take on the Grizzlies on Friday night before heading on to San Antonio to face the Spurs on Saturday night.
