(MUNCIE, IN) - The Ball State Cardinals used a big first half to defeat the Western Michigan Broncos 75-68 at Worthen Arena.
The Cardinals outshot the Broncos 62-percent to 26-percent over the first 20 minutes to build a 36-18 advantage at halftime.
Randy Davis led Ball State with a career-high 21 points on 14 for 16 shooting from the foul line.
Pierre Snead finished with 13 points and Terrence Watson added 12 points and eleven boards as the Cardinals improve to 8-8, 2-2 in the Mid-American Conference.
David Kool scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the second half with Alex Wolf adding 18 points as Western Michigan falls to 10-7, 2-2 in the MAC.
Ball State hits the road to face Eastern Michigan on Saturday.
