(CHAMPAIGN, IL) - JaJuan Johnson scored 24 points and grabbed twelve rebounds to lead the Purdue Boilermakers to an 84-78 victory over Illinois in Champaign.
E'twaun Moore scored 16 points and John Hart added a career-high 14 off the bench as the Boilers snapped a three-game losing streak.
Illinois' Demetri McCamey led all scores with 28 points with Mike Davis adding 17 points and 15 boards as the Illini suffered their first home loss of the season.
Illinois falls to 12-7, 4-2 in the Big Ten.
Purdue is 15-3, 3-3 in conference play as they return home to face the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday afternoon.
