(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis 500 Champion Helio Castroneves was at the motor speedway on Tuesday to view his likeness on the Borg-Warner Trophy.
Castroneves collected his third 500 victory last May and also received his winner's ring at the Brickyard yesterday.
Castroneves and the other I-Zod IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights drivers are at the speedway this week for the Indy Racing League's winter meeting as well as for preseason physicals.
Among the announcements at Tuesday's meeting was a pair of changes to the cars.
The four-position fuel mixture switch will be removed from the cars in 2010 and a reverse gear will be added to the cars for the nine road and street courses.
The Honda overtake assist system will remain on the cars this season.
The "push to pass" system was added to the cars in 2009, giving drivers a boost of extra power at the push of a button for a pre-determined number of times during each event.
