(MT. PLEASANT, MI) - Chris Kellerman scored 14 points to lead the Central Michigan Chippewas to a 53-38 win over the Ball State Cardinals.
Jordan Bitzer and Robbie Harman added twelve points apiece as the Chippewas opened the game with a 21-3 run as Ball State trailed by double digits for most of the contest.
Jauwan Scaife led the Cardinals with twelve points while Jerrod Jones was held to five points but did grab eleven rebounds.
Central Michigan has won three in a row to improve to 7-7, 2-0 in the Mid-American Conference.
Ball State has dropped three straight to fall to 6-8, 0-2 in the MAC.
The Cardinals are back home to play Toledo on Sunday.
