(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts are headed to the Super Bowl for the second time in the last four seasons after beating the New York Jets 30-17 in the AFC Championship game.
Peyton Manning completed 26 of 39 passes for 377 yards and three touchdowns.
Pierre Garcon caught eleven passes for 151 yards and a touchdown while rookie Austin Collie had seven catches for 123 yards.
Garcon's eleven receptions is an AFC Championship game record.
Mark Sanchez completed 17 of 30 passes for 257 yards with a pair of touchdown passes and an interception for the Jets.
Indianapolis improves to 16-2 with the win while New York finishes its season at 11-8.
The Colts will face the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl 44 on February seventh.
The Saints defeated the Minnesota Vikings 31-28 in overtime in the NFC Championship game to make it to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history.
It will be the fourth time that the Colts franchise will play in a Super Bowl.
All three of their previous super bowl appearances came in south Florida.
The Baltimore Colts lost to the Jets in Super Bowl Three and beat the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl Five at the Orange Bowl in Miami.
The Indianapolis Colts beat the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl 41 at what is now known as Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens the site of Super Bowl 44 in two weeks.
