(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers look to tie the school record for most consecutive wins to open a season when they face the Minnesota Golden Gophers at Mackey Arena this evening.
The fourth-ranked Boilers are 13-0 and can match Glenn Robinson's 1993-94 squad for the best start in Purdue history.
The gophers come into tonight's game riding a seven-game winning streak as Minnesota is 11-3, 2-0 in the Big Ten.
The Boilermakers won their Big Ten opener one week ago at Iowa before knocking off then-number-six West Virginia last Friday.
