(SPRINGFIELD, MO) - The Missouri State Bears needed overtime to send Indiana State to its third-straight loss, defeating the Sycamores 99-92 in Springfield.
Jermaine Mallett led the Bears with 18 points with eight of those coming in the extra session.
Caleb Patterson finished with 17 points with Will Creekmore adding 15 as Missouri State improves to 14-5, 4-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Harry Marshall led six Sycamores in double figures with a game-high 21 points.
Carl Richard scored 20 points and Jordan Printy finished with 18 as ISU drops to 11-8, 3-5 in MVC play.
The Sycamores are off until Sunday when they host 20th-ranked Northern Iowa.
